Online Horse Training Membership

Who is the Balance First membership for?

The Balance First Membership is for horse owners who want ongoing support to understand their horse better, improve communication, and build a calmer, more confident partnership over time.

It’s especially suited to you if:

  • you want to understand why your horse behaves the way they do, rather than simply following a set of exercises
  • you’re looking for steady support and guidance rather than a quick fix
  • you want to improve your horse’s balance, confidence, communication, and connection
  • you sometimes feel unsure what to work on next
  • you’d like training ideas that fit around real life, your horse, and the time you have available
  • you enjoy learning with others and would value a supportive community of like-minded horse owners

You don’t need to be at a particular level, and you don’t need to have a perfect training routine already. Instead, you simply stay open to learning, observe your horse, and develop your partnership one step at a time.

What’s included

  • Live online group classes
  • Horse training theory
  • A system of exercises for your horse’s wellbeing
  • Self-improvement
  • Learning materials
  • A supportive community
  • Archive of online class recordings

Live online Group Classes

As part of your membership, you’ll join two live online classes that focus on horse training theory, the progressive system of exercises, and self‑development.

Each class begins with a short, focused piece of theory, then moves into open Q&A and group discussion. You’re welcome to participate fully or simply listen quietly.

You always have access to recordings, along with e-books and study materials that support both theoretical and practical learning.

How The Membership Works

This isn’t a how‑to course, and there’s nothing to keep up with. You won’t follow a step‑by‑step curriculum or work through a long list of modules.

Instead, you receive ongoing support through the community and live online classes, with optional lessons available if you’d like more practical guidance.

Suitable for All Levels

The Balance First Membership is suitable for riders and horse owners at every stage in their education, from early foundations to more advanced refinement.

FAQ

What Does The Momentum membership include?

The Momentum Membership gives you two live group classes per month, with theory topics including horse training, practical training exercises and tips, and self-improvement. During the class, you can share what is happening with your horse and ask your questions. You always have access to recordings, along with e-books and study materials that support both theoretical and practical learning.

What does the +Growth Membership include?

+Growth includes everything in Momentum, plus two live video review classes each month, personalised feedback on up to two submitted videos, access to the recording archive, and a private space for peer video discussion.

What if I can’t attend live?

It is best if you can attend live, but all calls are recorded, so you can watch the replay whenever it suits you.

Can I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership and rejoin at any time. You still have access to all live classes and content until the end of the last month that you paid for. However, when you rejoin you may lose your Founding Member special price (which is much lower than the full price will be for new members in future).

Is there a course as part of the membership?

The online horse training membership provides ongoing support rather than a fixed course. You receive regular guidance, live online coaching, and access to a supportive community, so you can work on your training at a pace that suits you.

I plan to produce more structured courses in future, although I don’t have a set timescale for when these will be available. For now, the membership offers practical support, discussion, and guidance to help you build clarity and consistency with your horse.

How much time do I need to commit?

It’s really up to you. You can commit as much or as little time as you wish. Each of the live classes lasts up to 1 hour, but you don’t have to attend every call, and there is no pressure or judgment.

When Do The live classes Take Place?

The Momentum live classes run on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at 8pm UK time. Times may change, but you will always receive plenty of notice if they do. All classes are recorded, and the replays are available in the course.

Do I need to speak during the Live Class?

No. Participation is always optional. You’re welcome to speak, type in the chat, or simply listen, as many members learn best by observing and reflecting.

What happens during the Live Classes?

Classes are held on Zoom, and each class includes a short theory section, sharing of members’ “aha” moments, challenges, and questions, and a clear topic to carry into your training. As a result, the calls stay structured, grounded, and designed to help you build clarity and consistency.

Is the growth membership suitable for beginners?

This is not a step-by-step how-to course, but it is intended for all experience levels.
